LGBT Pride Luncheon
Connell O'Donovan gives a brief history lesson on the Stonewall riots at the LGBT Pride luncheon June 27, 2019, at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. O'Donovan is a historian, biographer and genealogist from Salt Lake City, specializing in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender history. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, which happened June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in New York City. The riots are considered to be one of the most important events in history leading to the gay liberation movement and the fight for LGBT rights in the United States.
