Come on out for this year's final Hill Air Force Base Junior Force Council Spring Speaker Series on June 18 at 2 p.m. in the Base Theater. Mary Hill and Capt. Lisa Whaling will present the "Ins and outs of career transitions."

Mary Hill has been with the Air Force for 30 years and is currently an equipment specialist for KC-135 Landing Gear. Hill will be speaking about the transition from wage grade to general schedule pay plans.

Capt. Lisa Whaling has been with the Air Force for 10 years and was recently promoted from lieutenant. Whaling is a program manager for the 501st Aircraft Sustainment Squadron; her programs include the F-16 Depot Increase and the USAF Thunderbirds. Her presentation will explore the different avenues into transitioning from an Enlisted to an Officer.

For those looking to make either of these changes this is a great opportunity to learn more about the process from people who know. Time off for this event is authorized; all base personnel are welcome and encouraged to attend.
