Team Hill concluded Hispanic Heritage Month with a special event at the Hill Aerospace Museum on Oct. 10. The event featured a variety of activities and exhibits, including a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization ceremony, where Michael Crabtree, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services field office director, administered the Oath of Allegiance to 68 individuals.

The event also showcased vehicles from the Heavy Hitters Car Club of Ogden, STEM tables, food trucks, and a Tour of Flags providing information about the arts and culture of 21 Hispanic and Latin countries.

Maj. Emily De Anda, 75th Air Base Wing Comptroller Squadron commander, provided opening remarks, and Chief Master Sgt. Christian Saurez, 421st Fighter Generation Squadron senior enlisted leader, was among the speakers who emphasized the importance of celebrating Hispanic heritage and contributions.

Naturalized U.S. citizens, along with their family and friends, waved flags in celebration following the ceremony, marking the culmination of the month-long celebration for Hill Air Force Base.
