Save the date: Women's Equality Day celebration Aug. 26

Team Hill is invited to join the Women's Equality Day Special Observance Committee on Aug. 26 at the Base Track from 9 to 11 a.m. to celebrate the ratification of the 19th Amendment.

This amendment prohibited states from denying the right to vote to citizens on the basis of sex, which allowed women the right to vote.

• 9 a.m. - Introduction and welcome
Celebrating the ratification of the 19th Amendment

• 9:10 a.m. - Interactive icebreaker and trivia
The goal for this game is to allow everyone who showed up plenty of time to
meet everyone and mingle about common interests/activities.

• 9:50 a.m. - Guest speaker
Will be announced at a later date.

• 10:30 a.m. - Fitness activity
Two Rounds: 50-feet walking lunges, 60 Pushups, 60 air squats, 400-meter
run

• 11 a.m. - Refreshments

This event is open to Hill personnel and their families. A civilian release letter will be sent via internal communication channels.
