Members of the the 729th Air Control Squadron departed for the Red Flag 15-2 exercise at Nellis AFB, Nev., recently with a convoy of dozens of vehicles. The “Angry Warriors” went to provide command and control support for the multi-national, joint-service exercise. Red Flag is a realistic combat training exercise involving the air, space, and cyber forces of the United States and its allies. The exercise is hosted north of Las Vegas on the Nevada Test and Training Range. (Air Force photo by Micah Garbarino)

Hill's Staff Sgt. Kyle Bushey, an Explosive Ordnance Technician with the 775th EOD flight, was selected for the Air Force's Annual Portraits In Courage for his time during a deployment to Afghanistan. Sergeant Bushey and his team were in an hours-long firefight with the enemy, several were wounded. Bushey was submitted for the Bronze Star with Valor. (Courtesy photo)
