About the Integrated Delivery System (IDS)
An action arm of the Community Action Information Board (CAIB), the IDS is designed to integrate base helping agencies into one seam¬less team. The team provides the right help at the right time to active duty military, family members, DoD civilians, and retirees. The IDS is committed to increasing the sense of community and assisting Airmen, their families, and the Hill AFB community at large, manage life demands through services, prevention programs, and educational opportunities at Hill Air Force Base.
The IDS consists of agencies with primary responsibility for providing family services and prevention and education activities. The members noted below meet on a monthly basis to work tasks assigned by the local/MAJCOM/AF CAIB and to address areas of concern to the base as a whole and implement collaborative activities between agencies.
The IDS supports the execution of the Air Force Community Assessment. With data gathered as well as local formal and informal assessments the team develops a Community Capacity Action Plan at least every 2 years.
