Team Hill,

On Jan. 7, the installation transitioned to Health Protection Condition Charlie (HPCON Charlie).

With the COVID-19 Omicron variant sweeping across the world, this week marked the two highest daily positive case counts in Utah since the onset of the global pandemic.

Thursday's tally in Utah of over 8,900 new cases shattered Wednesday's record by over 1,600 and nearly doubles the previous record case count set on Dec. 30.

All individuals regardless of vaccination status must continue to follow applicable CDC and DoD mask guidance.

DoD requires all service members, federal employees, onsite contractor employees, dependents, and visitors, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask in an indoor setting in installations and other facilities owned, leased or otherwise controlled by DoD.

Additionally, physical distancing must be incorporated as an additional mitigation measure for all non-vaccinated individuals.
