Event organizers are encouraging those planning to attend the Warriors Over the Wasatch Air and Space Show June 23-24 to use public transportation.

General admission to the show is free, but because of traffic and limited parking, organizers say Utah Transit Authority is the best way to get to and from the show.

FrontRunner service both Saturday and Sunday with a bus service running from Clearfield FrontRunner station directly to the show entrance will be available.

A special $5 round-trip fare went on sale June 1 via UTA’s GoRide mobile app.

There is also a $15 UTA group pass (up to four people) available for purchase on the UTA website, vending machines or UTA customer service centers. Both fares allow for travel on FrontRunner, TRAX, Streetcar and local bus.

Visit the UTA website at www.rideuta.com/Rider-Info/2018-Hill-Air-Force-Base-Air-Show for schedules and more information.

Hill’s Air and Space Show takes place every other year.

It is one of the largest shows in the country, and the largest single event in Utah with regular attendees traveling from surrounding states and Canada.

More than 500,000 people were reported to have attended the 2016 event. Organizers expect a similar number this year.

While general admission to the show is free, there are exclusive VIP tickets available for purchase via a partnership with The Utah Air Show Foundation at www.theutahairshow.com allowing attendees higher levels of accommodations – including private seating, and food and beverage options.
