COLONEL JENNIFER HAMMERSTEDT

Colonel Jennifer Hammerstedt is Commander, 75th Air Base Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The wing provides installation support for Ogden Air Logistics Complex, two fighter wings, and 50 other associate units, totaling 24,000 members consisting of active duty, civilian and contractor personnel. Additionally, it directly supports Air Expeditionary Forces operations. The 75th Air Base Wing also has base support responsibility for the operation of the 1,500-square-mile Utah Test and Training Range.

Colonel Hammerstedt was commissioned in 1996 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. During her career Colonel Hammerstedt has led flightline maintenance and munitions operations in six different Air Force wings. She deployed worldwide in support of Operations Northern and Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and New Dawn, including two deployed squadron commands. Colonel Hammerstedt also served on two major command staffs and as an Air Force Legislative Fellow. Prior to her current position, she served as Commander, 402nd Aircraft Maintenance Group, Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
